Jack Swanson is an approved licensed provider, Provider #0709, with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, TCEQ, and holds a Grade “A” Water License and Class “A” Wastewater License issued by the TCEQ. Jack has over 38 years in the Water/Wastewater Industry and has been an approved instructor for over 25 years.
Jack attended Texas A&M University in College Station and Kingsville graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Science specializing in soil science, agronomy, entomology and agriculture engineering and a Master’s of Business Administration, MBA, from The University of Houston. Jack has taught all aspects of water/wastewater treatment from activated sludge to trickling filters and both groundwater and surface water treatment. In addition he has continued to take advanced classes in the environmental field to keep up with the ever-changing water/wastewater industry.
In the last 10 years Jack was employed by TEEX, a division of The Texas A&M University System, as an instructor in the Water/Wastewater Training Division. He has also worked for several municipalities holding various positions. Including a City Manager to Director of Utilities.
